Welcome to Leaps N Bounds!

Leaps N Bounds started as a tumbling program in June, 2004 when Mary Madore opened on Main Street in Fairfield. One year later the program expanded to include gymnastics and cheerleading necessitating the move to its present location on Route 201 in Fairfield. Our 5000 square foot facility includes all four Olympic women’s gymnastics events, uneven bars, balance beam, floor exercise, and vault; a spring cheer floor; viewing areas; and a retail store.

During the past two years LNB has come to know many new friends, provided the advantage of opportunity, experienced the excitement of goals being set and met, witnessed increased self-esteem, and has been a part of creating many wonderful memories.

Athletes enjoy lots of personal attention with a student/instructor ratio of 6:1. LNB strives to have athletes in motion the entire class.

All registered athletes are eligible to participate in our special events. The Triple Challenge is held in December and June. This test of balance, strength and flexibility is broken into age groups where athletes “compete” to be the best in each event or the prized Ultimate Athlete.  Our Annual Holiday Celebration is held in December and includes performances, games, food, and gifts.  The Grande Finale is our end-of-season performance for those athletes wanting to showcase what they’ve learned throughout the year.

Summer offers a modified class schedule as well as week-long gymnastics day camps and cheering camps.  Space is limited for camps. Don’t be left out—register early!

Mission Statement

Leaps N Bounds strives to provide a safe positive learning environment where each athlete can accomplish personal physical goals, increase self-esteem, and work towards reaching his/her fullest potential.

Incentive Program:  For every new athlete you refer to Leaps N Bounds, you earn $10 towards your athlete’s next session. Spread the word!!

Annual Registration Fee:  A non-refundable annual fee of $20 per child is due at registration.  This fee is valid for one year.

Tuition:  Tuition in full is due the first class of each session. Returned checks will incur a $20.00 fee.

Discounts:  A discount of 15% for a second class per week within the same family and 20% for a third class per week within the same family. Discounts are on the least expensive class.

4-Week Sessions:  Sessions for gymnastics, tumbling, and cheerleading will begin the first week of each month.

Refund Policy:  A missed class is not refundable. Arrangements may be made to make up a class by attending a regularly scheduled class of the same level, a lower level, or Open Gym. Make-ups must be completed within the same session.  There will be no refunds for withdrawal from class.

Holidays:  If a holiday falls on your class day and the gym is closed, plan to make up the class within the session.

Snow Days:  Classes are not always cancelled when school is cancelled.  Please call the gym to check.  There will be a message on the answering machine by 2:00 p.m.

Insurance:  All athletes participating in classes at Leaps N Bounds must have health insurance. Our insurance provider does not allow us to accept students without health insurance.
